And sure, he has lost in the finals but then again a lot of the greats have lost multiple times in the 1st round.

It's like saying Roger Federer isn't the greatest because he has lost over 10 grand slam finals.

Roger Federer (holds the all-time record for GS titles)
GS Finals 19-10

Lebron James
NBA Finals 3-5

Federer doesn't have to take teammates into consideration when playing, Lebron has.

And the question was who the best postseason player is. Not finals, or who has the best finals record. 1st round, 2nd round etc etc are also part of the postseason.

And btw, I do think MJ is the GOAT. Just to get that out there..

He's easily one of the greatest postseason players of all time regardless

His finals record says otherwise

He has more FMVP's than the entire Knicks franchise, and the Knicks are 2/8 in the Finals

Wade has a better finals record than him

Are you really pointing to team mates as a detriment for Lebron? Have you taken a look at the Cavs' roster or the team mates who Lebron has played with? - what a joke.

You are the one who mentioned Federer and FINALS.

Lebron has had a virtual pass to the Finals in the East over vastly inferior teams to what's out West all these years. You'd have been better off trying to explain his poor record in the Finals when he's finally playing some REAL competition than pumping up postseason (1st 3 rounds) performance against inferior teams.
