We have enough defensive liabilities already when Thomas is on the floor.
Don't need to experiment with 2 short PG's in the starting lineup.

Sorry... I can't see that happening. You're not giving Conley enough respect here.

I got a better OP. Harden + CP3 for Brooklyn pick. Do you think Cavs will do it?

Jesus no. CP3 is 32 & injury prone. The pick is worth way more

This thread is a textbook exception to the rule:

Since when is Conley Gary Payton on defense?
Above-average defender, I'll give you that, but Klay Thompson is freaking 6'7''. Height matters.

It's a great trade, Memphis rebuilds (as they've already started losing Zbo, Allen, VC) instead of being stuck making 8th seed max in the West. Potentially having two top 10 lottery picks, Brooklyn's and their own. Meanwhile, Cavs go for it all, get playmaker Lebron wanted.

Even if Lebron did leave as some here say, they'd still have a great team with Conley, Gasol, Love locked in. That's a top notch core in the east. Certainly on the same level as the Celtics.

And Conley and Gasol are two of the best defensive players in the league, team defense would improve greatly.
