The shooter sprayed and emptied the magazine every time, the flash does not correspond to that.

What can you do? Add more laws?

My guess is current laws prohibit this guy from owning a class 3 firearm.

Oh.. I got this Dooms.

Red flag operation to force taking away guns. Why? There will be a civil war or the gov will be coming after people and they don't want us to fight back.

They will pin this on left wingers, so then the right wing will open fire on left wingers and you know the rest.

We were all warned about Vegas.

I took note of that in the Manchester Thread I just bumped... last post.

Don't worry... I won't be researching any of this.

In Paris, the only ones that had guns were the bad guys.

In a country with strict gun laws.

Yes, the french police are HEAVILY armed... makes US ones look like pansies. A lot of people poke fun at the french for being weak but modern french militia is no joke. They have to deal with terrorism every day - lots of it goes unreported.

that all depends on how bad it gets...

it should be left up for the State of Nevada to decide.

not Trump... or the female leftist that comes after Trump.

State Rights.

If you were trying to pull off a conspiratorial false flag attack or basically anything that wasn't genuine, the Las Vegas strip would, quite literally, be the worst possible spot in the entire world to try... they have more cameras than the CIA, NSA, FBI and Pentagon combined... just saying.

Use your head.

Strange take. If significant legislation couldnt be passed after a bunch of elementary schoolkids were gunned down in their classroom why would this shooting be, to paraphrase, a "bad night for the 2nd amendment"?

There is no tipping point as far as mass shootings go.

Some Aussie farmer dude just got his guns taken away because he used them to protect his family from a house invader. There's an example in your own country.

Yeah, house invasion is completely different. You hear that happen a fair bit.

I'm talking about in public. Open carry and all those other laws. Stupid. No one is being a hero. When has someone in public stopped one of these maniacs? Never?

And yes, there should be an extremely strict set of laws. You can say its difficult all you want, but one step toward the right direction is a good one.
The gun may be illegal already, and clearly work needs to be done there to limit supply, but I just don't see how doing nothing is the solution.

I'm heading over to the US with my girlfriend soon, and literally two days ago we were saying that we hope something crazy doesn't happen while we're over there. There isn't too many places in the world that are an appealing tourist spot that you'd even discuss that stuff.

Want me to start listing examples?

How about less than a week ago when some black dude tried to shoot up a white church, and was stopped by a church member with a gun?

You didn't hear that though, cause the last thing the media needs is a black man shooting up a white church getting stopped by a white 2nd amendment supporter.

Quote:
Tennessee Shooting Suspect May Have Sought Revenge for Charleston Massacre

WASHINGTON — A note found in the car of a man charged with spraying deadly gunfire at a Tennessee church made reference to revenge for a white supremacist's massacre at a black church in Charleston, South Carolina, two years earlier, law enforcement officials told The Associated Press.

The note could offer a glimpse into Emanuel Kidega Samson's mindset at the time of Sunday's shooting and a possible motive for the rampage, which killed a woman and wounded six other people. The Associated Press has not viewed the note, but it was summarized in an investigative report circulating among law enforcement. Two officials read to AP from the note.

Say what.... revenge for Charleston but is barely even mentioned by the MSM? Ya don't say.

There have been many accounts of open carrying leading to something positive. I have yet to see open carry from a law abiding citizen cause a crime though.

"A step towards the right direction is a good one" - No shit, what you think is the 'right direction' versus another is the discussion.

Fair enough.

Statistically, less people with guns means a lower propensity of these incidents happening.
