We know he can score.
What about being a better point guard? Has he done anything in that regard?

Kyrie was fine tonight. Looks like he's still figuring out the celtics roster, but he made 5-7 threes. He only had 3 assists, but he also only played 25 minutes.

What I still don't see is the ability to truly make things happen when he's not scoring. He had an amazing crosscourt pass that landed right in Marcus Smart's hands and he drained the three. He had a great up the court pass to Horford in the third quarter and he didnt miss a shot. He looked fine on man-to-man defense as far as I could see, but he got lost on two screens and gave up a couple of threes as a result.

Overall, it's looked like Kyrie and the celtics are figuring things out, but once again, Kyrie doesn't look like an instinctive playmaker. We'll see, though. Hayward, Horford looked solid too. Horford looks the most solid all around, though.

Damn, Kyrie sucks without lebronze. 5-7 from three? Blew the game open in the third? What a shitty player. Cavs are better off without him. Celtics can't even win a game without lebron

Boston will get the best out of Kyrie... They play more like the Warriors rather than the Cavs - everyone touches the ball on the offensive end and when Irving gets it going they will defer to him in spurts and at the end of close games.

Lebron ball ruined Kyrie's flow as he was merely used as a spot-up shooter to space the floor for Lebron, now Kyrie gets the ball on most possessions rather than when they only need him to go ISO.
