I hope UConn starts to pound the 2010 class. They have a lot of room for big time players. Dyson, Robinson, Edwards, Thabeet( I'm assuming that he is back), Mandledove, and I think maybe one more. So that is 5-6 scholarships.
I personally feel we are locks for Harris and Coleman, possibly Phil Pressey too. I think we could also land 1 guy out of Roscoe Smith, Brandon Knight, and Doron Lamb.
Notable OOC games so far:
Texas
@Michigan
Host for NIT (along with Duke, LSU, Arizona State)
Possible game against Kentucky in the Big East/SEC Invitational
UConn junior Stanley Robinson will be returning to school, according to sources close to the situation. Robinson is reportedly having his best semester ever as a student thus far, and is already in the gym working out getting ready for next season. Robinson has been compared by some teams we’ve spoken with to “a taller Gerald Wallace,” and with a strong senior season underneath his belt, showing more consistency on and off the court than he has up until now, we believe he could truly explode and emerge as a lottery pick. Kemba Walker has also confirmed that he’ll return for his sophomore season.
It'd be stupid for either Robinson or Walker to enter the draft... both are 100% not ready.
I am just glad that Stanley and Kemba are going to be around next season. Also glad to see that Stanley is having a good semester at school. But I agree, Stan and Kemba are no way ready for the NBA. They could go overseas and play. But I would want to stick around and get my game ready for the NBA level, plus help my school get better...possible NCAA title.
