Default WOJ: Western teams could trade talent to East

Quote:
"There's a lot of teams between 7-4 and 4-7 who still are trying to figure out who they are and where they're playing," said Wojnarowski. "In the East, are the Cavs vulnerable here? They've looked very vulnerable. There's teams now, multiple teams thinking 'hey, we have a chance.' There's several teams in the East who think they can get to the Eastern Conference Finals.

"In the West, I don't think anybody's feeling has changed about Golden State.

"I think that's going to dictate, as we get closer to trade season, just the idea that with so many teams in the East especially thinking 'we have a chance', executives think there's going to be a lot of activity this year. As one said to me, 'you may see a lot more West to East deals where teams in the West who just don't think they can compete, whether they're getting salary off or trying to create flexibility for the summer. You may see some of these contenders in the East trying to load up and you may see that talent surge from East to West, you may see it come back this year."

Idk why people are claiming the East is trash when Golden State has won the West the last 3 years and swept the West last year 12-0.

Because kawhi got hurt...spurs warriors would've been a great series. Just like thunder warriors was the previous year.

What's the point of being good in the West? What's your prize? You get to get swept by GS in the playoffs.

Who wants Favors, Rubio, Hood, Burks, Neto and Johnson?

sorry but thats not what you were saying at all. according to this, every west team should tank?

you were disputing the fact that the east is horrible compared to the west. they still are.

Spurs were a Zaza Pachulia foot away from blowing out the Warriors in Game 1.

And any team is a Curry ankle away from beating the Warriors.

Sucks to look at it like that, but anythings possible.

No one in the shitty east has a chance.

But matchups are everything. In my opinion, Spurs and Memphis have the greatest chance to beat Golden State in a 7 game series out west

Lol @ giving away Hood or Burks. Not smart.

Spurs will take those two and have them looking like phenoms.

What team in the West is going to sell though? Memphis? Clippers? Nuggets? Blazers? Pelicans? Thunder? Jazz?

Can't really see it happening unless they are out of the playoff picture come deadline, but at that point, it'll be too late to put together a tank for a good chance at Ayton/Bagley/Doncic/Porter.

PG ran West..Melo ran West..Butler forced himself to Minnesota

Who's really left the WC that's worth naming? I'm drawing blanks right now. I guess you can say that Bledsoe got himself to Milwaukee, but he's not really a star player.
