First off, I was wrong.

Russell is a top MVP candidate now.

In other news, pretty scary situation in Cincy.

Shazier is somewhat of a dirty player but that was scary, I hope he's not fcked up long term.

HE didn' move his legs and grabbed and his back and fell over right after his head went square into another guy

Bungles literally just left Bell scored a TD

This has to be looked at for match fixing

I hope Shazier is ok. Reports are looking more optimistic than the injury seemed last night.

It was a weird game to watch after that injury. I felt a little bad watching Burfict get hurt too but that dude had a karmic balance that demanded payment.

Steelers vs Bengals is out of control lately. Every time they play I'm watching the game between my fingers half the time.

Haven't had much time to post lately. Gonna shove it all into one post

Chiefs ... BUT the small number of fans calling for Reid's head are clowns. They don't remember how dark and bleak it was before he arrived. It sucks the wheels have come all the way off, but it's been a fun ride this season.

ESPN sucks dick. I'm curious to know if Shazier is okay too, but there's something despicable about parking a reporter outside the hospital and trying to get information from anyone coming in or out of seeing him. It reminds me of Adam Schefter tweeting JPP's medical charts. THAT kind of stuff has no place in sports.

From Marvin Lewis postgame he either doesn't know or doesn't care about the way the game has changed. He's got culpability in that iloka hit. It's happened too often under his watch. He's either coaching it or giving his tacit approval.

I don't think the game is pussified, but it loses a little something for me when replay is being used to judge the violence and brutality of every hit. Every time there's a big hit it's a long discussion about whether it's legal or not in today's NFL. I'm a wrestling fan so I'm not naive to the real problem when these dudes start dropping dead in their 40's. I get these dudes are human beings. I guess my point is that a lot of these broadcasters and sports reporters need to get off their soapbox every time there's a big hit expressing moral outrage at how this is still allowed to happen in a godamned football game.

Yeah, I blame Marvin Lewis a lot. Honestly, Burfict has been doing despicable shit for years and Marvin Lewis either defended him or looked the other way every time. He either has no control of that team or simply doesn't care. Either way, he clearly an awful leader and they've lost games because of their lack of discipline.

I don't feel bad if Iloka gets jammed up with a suspension for this btw.

My personal objection was mostly on the Trevathan hit from earlier this season. It sucks Montgomery got hurt, but that hit was just good football. No one is going to change my mind. It's an overcorrection when that play in particular get caught up in the hysteria over CTE.

Marvin sucks at accountability all around. Not just discipline and having control of his players on the field. I think he did that dude Zampese dirty by firing him after 2 weeks. That's a cowardly move. I hope he never sees an nfl coaching job again. You just don't sell people out like that and expect to be taken seriously as a leader.
