No wonder Apple sales are down.

Not everyone pays for their shit.

My work decided to go with Apple so we have iPhones. If the phones get too slow, they either will buy us the latest model each year or switch to another type of phone. I don't pay for it so I give zero fucks. Apple has a lawsuit on their hands now since they gave zero fucks.

All batteries fade, what this controversy is about Apple adding code that slows down a person's iPhone based on how much your battery has faded.

Apparently Apple was only slowing down phones where battery degradation was detected. Nevertheless Apple says it will now offer $29 battery replacement on 6s and up versus the $79 current price for at least a year and the user will be able to monitor battery performance so as to see when the processor will begin to slow down the phone to avoid shutdowns. So keeping a battery in good shape will allow you to avoid any performance changes. The big question is if Apple will allow you to turn off the performance throttling if it detects a declining battery.

I was thinking of getting the 8, but I'm leaning towards a new screen and battery for my 6..
It's hard to justify the new one, it's basically the same

Yup, I read an article that mentioned that the IPhone makes up over 60% of Apples' sales
