I don't have time to cook or eat properly. My work schedule is all over the place so I don't have time to prep a proper consistent meal plan. And even if I did, I don't like to eat properly at work. My best solution is for a shake to gain weight as a carb alternative.

They're quick to make, and fast to drink during the work day.

Steel cut oats, Whole Milk, Banana and 1/4 cup peanut butter. Blend it all up into a shake.

Don't bother with weight gainer supplements. They're bullshit.

That's where you should stop trying

Why? Because you don't know what's in them?

They're no more of less different then the calories you eat.

This. Tried many during bulks from designer proteins, and isolates over the years and always come back to ON. Nothing overwhelming but flavor isn't bad and mixes well into shakes, with milk etc. Helps when don't have access to real food immediately following a workout. Prefer the double rich chocolate. Avoid weight gainers.

Make time, do the prep. Nobody ever said getting to your goals is easy. And the people who do get to their goals never say I don't have time.

I'll tell you this much, I've seen single parents with multiple kids and jobs still have time to prep and reach goals. EVERYONE can make time. True, the sentiment that supplements can cut corners in time saving, but the bulk of your results will come from consistent habits and proper nutrition.

ON is proof that you can pass sub quality as great if you have the best executed advertising plan

I laugh whenever someone says Gold Standards is the best

True, can't argue with that.

That's fine to use, but on that premise every protein will "do the job"

Protein is protein no matter what the source. I'm just commenting on when people deem ON as the best in the market. Because it truly isn't. But yes it will do the job. All protein will do the job.

What would you recommend, protein shake wise? (Serious question, I'm interested in this stuff and always open to suggestion)

Gold whey standard got me from 108 to 140 in 3 months. Insane shit.

I was severely underweight when using it coming out of HS.

Also going to start working out again.

Highly recommend using whey protein with milk for added calories.

Don't depend on it though. And clean bulk don't dirty.

It's real food, cheap and easy to make. You can buy it in bulk and not pay a ridiculous price like you would a bodybuilding supplement.
