Default New Year's Resolution Thread

Going to work out. Started to in Oct and was a month into it, going (nearly) every day, and I had noticed a difference....

Then I ruptured my Achilles so I haven't worked out since. Just got out of the boot though, so its time to start back.

Plus I have vacations, a wedding, and a honeymoon coming up this year. I don't want to look like a fat piece of shit.

I will update this thread with progress.

Thinking about going to med school. There are biology and chemistry exams in three months. If i dont slack a lot i might be able to land a spot. Im looking at a pharmacy degree, which is probably as hard as an MD degree in terms of study load.

I don't really wait for NY to set a resolution, rather just do it. And UK, you don't need to go everyday. This is what I generally do, 1 day push, 1 day pull, 1-2 days of jogging. Going every day is if you want to look like a gym rat, which is fine if that's what you're going for. Use my routine, and you get more of a athlete look. 75% of the work is the diet though.

as for this year not really related to a resolution but par the course,
- work on main personal project hoping for the best
- would like to return on another personal project with some friends to finish it
- work on improving my craft after work, got way too lazy the last 2 months
- not working on this, but for the first time ever I started thinking about marrying a girl. Maybe stop going after flings and stay with someone long term if I'm fortuitous enough to find a good one
- would like to find a job a bit different in my field, that focuses more specifically on some skill sets in the next 3-6 months

I know.

Went downstairs and got yogurt and a banana instead of my customary breakfast quesadilla.

Wow, bro. Wow. Just because I disagree with you politically? I could say the same for you then.

I'm hurt.

Something to be a little more efficient, a 2 minute rule. If there's something i need to do that takes under two minutes, do it right then and there. Don't put it off until later. It'll give you more free time later when you need to do something that takes time or just to relax.

Wow...

I should really implement that in my life. I'd be a lot less lazy.

I'm glad my schedule allows me to avoid rush hour at the gym and all the resolutionists. They have a shelf life of only about 3 weeks, but still...

Thereís separate schools for pharma and medicine in the U.S., the latter being far more rigorous. I canít speak for your country, but Iíd assume that the future doctors over there would have to go through more than a pharmacist would.
