Both teams are deep enough to get smacked by Golden State in 5 games

Wade, I.T. , Korver, Green, Osman and Crowder

are an UPGRADE over

Deron Williams, Richard Jefferson, James Jones, Kay Felder, Liggins (and Korver)

They will miss Kyrie. But there is an infusion of experienced guys who can still play.

advantage: this season

they are slightly better as a whole but probably not good enough to win unaided by the forces of the basketball gods. They need something like an injury or suspension to pull off the upset against GSW, if they make it through the ECF. Not so much of a lock this year.

No way a key player will ever be suspended in a crucial finals game.

The NBA is not rigged!!!!!

Deeper than 2016-17, not as great as 2015-16 which beat the Warriors in 7 and consisted of Timofey Mozgov (Legit center at the time), Matthew Dellavedova (speed, defernse), Richard Jefferson (vet) and Mo Williams (fomer all-star)

And Kyrie.

Anyway as for this year versus last year: they are more talented for the regular season but weaker for the playoffs.

Delly and Mozgov barely even played.

Mo was ok, RJ did provide some valuable minutes, maybe Jeff Green can be useful and fill that same void.

Hopefully key players don't assess a multitude of techs and flagrants for punching/kicking guys in the junk and get themselves on the hook for automatic suspensions if they continue to do so..

Conspiracy I say!!!!

their defense is still garbage and will continue to be as long as Love starts at center

nothing else really matters

i doubt we see any major moves to get a reliable big in place...unless the Pelicans know for sure Cousins is out after this year...the Cavs are stuck with the TT/Love combo and hope it pans out come Finals time again -- which it may seeing the bench is indeed more deep IMO.

2017:
TT
Love
James
JR
Kyrie
--Korver
--RJ
--Frye
--Shump
--DWill

2018:
Love
Crowder
James
JR
IT
--Wade
--Rose
--Korver
--TT
--Green
