Default Anthony Davis, Karl-Anthony Towns, or Joel Embiid

Which player would you have on your team for the next 10 years?

Davis is perhaps the best among three..But I'll be taking Towns; he's less prone to injury.

Joel Embiid. If you pick anyone else then you're an idiot

Towns by a mile.

Durability is ahead by light years. Far more versatile and efficient on offense. The guy can destroy other bigs off the dribble, hit 3s, and post up. He's not the defender the other 2 are, but he still has room to grow on that end. His scoring is down because he is 3rd in FGAs on his team behind the useless overpaid trash that is Wiggins and Butler.

AD is a finished product and generally misses 15+ games a season. Embiid is a season ending injury just waiting to happen.

Embiid has by far the highest ceiling, but is one or two injuries away from being done.

Towns is durable and offensively skilled, but I don't think he has the defensive instincts or awareness to become elite on that end, which is a massive flaw IMO for a center.

So Davis is the answer.

Davis of course. He's the most logical.

I see why you asked this question. Embiid has the most impact, AD has the highest ceiling, and KAT is the only one who never misses games.

Impact
1. Embiid
2. AD
3. KAT

Ceiling
1. AD
2. Embiid
3. KAT

Health
1. KAT
2. AD
3. Embiid

Defense (important in a big man)
1. Embiid
2. AD
3. KAT

I'm a Knicks fan, and who knows if KP will ever be the same again. I would put Embiid next to him easy no question. And them 2 would automatically make the young pgs they have better.

If Embiid has more impact already, and he hasn't even played a full NBA season yet compared to Davis' 387 games, how does Davis have a higher ceiling?

I don't think Davis has much left to grow as a player. In terms of impact he's arguably already top 3 or top 5. He just needs a better team and more playoff wins to improve that perception.

Embiid, on the other hand, has barely played, but already has everything. He is a dominant defender. Fluid footwork almost resembling Olajuwon. He can score inside, and has started developing his outside game. And great passing ability for a center. With more games these will only continue to develop.

Embiid has the higher ceiling, and probably has the highest ceiling of any player in the NBA, edging out Giannis IMO

Embiid quite easily. Already one of the most skilled centers ever (and he's a real center unlike the other two) and he's barely played.

Davis easily. He has never had a real coach or pieces to work with besides cousins. Plus he can play defense. Embiid will never be the offensive beast that Davis will be
