Merit based lol...the race/gender pandering in that party is disgusting.

You're proving his point though. Rs aren't as interested in politics thus it's only the familial connections that are really interested in becoming politicians. They'd rather build businesses and hire people and contribute to the country that way instead of stealing money and calling it an "investment" through government.
