Default Best Backup PG in the League?

Who is the best backup PG in the league? My guess would be TJ McConnell. He plays elite defense on and off the ball, has one of the best AST:TO ratios, always among the league leaders in steals due to his work ethic and hustle, and is a clutch player, with numerous game winning steals and shots throughout his career.

Who you got?

How the f#ck is this thread worthy, OP?

Obviously it is TJ McConnell. There is no debate. None at all.

You're better than this OP.

I dont have time to watch every single team to see if any other PGs have borderline superstar impact off the bench like TJ does, thats why im asking ISH.

Nope, no agendas. Do you think IT is better than McConnell?

TJ McConnell should be playing in a rec league with fat dentists and corporate stiffs.

Marcus Smart/Terry Rozier. Take your pick.

McConnell is also an enforcer, which you rarely see at the position. He's not afraid to get bloody if someone disrespects him. See DeRozan, he tried it and TJ absolutely mind****ed him, he actually outscored him that game while shutting him down.

Rozier has a better shot and Smart isnt better than McConnell at anything.

Compare their defense.

Once again Roszier doesn't have TJ's impact on defense. TJ has a more complete game, which you should desire as a backup.

Smart's decision making is questionable af. Particularly in the clutch. TJ is one of the most clutch players in the league and runs his team like a true floor general of old.

1. Was an mvp candidate last year. The other may not be able to start on any team in the league. Whats to compare?

1. They're both backing up rookies right now.

2. One's an elite defender, the other has no defensive impact at all.

3. Who do you think has drained more game winners in their respective careers? The answer might surprise you.

4. Isaiah Thomas was an MVP candidate last year, but what has he done of not so far this year?

5. McConnell has more non-OT triple double games.

McConnell plays a bigger role on a better team.

I like Felton, he's sort of a mini Melo. Marshmelo, if you will, but he's no McConnell.
