Worst MVP ever

But hey, He sure can pad the **** out of some stats, who gives a shit if it actually translates to real winning.

OKC already had a better PG on their team and they traded him away

To be fair, when his teammates around him are playing decent WB tends to be more of a distributor and shoots less. When his squad is sucking, he then ramps up the shooting to get OKC back in the game.

His 3pt% is atrocious though

This, and he especially forces threes if his team is underwhelming and facing a deficit.

Fun fact, Westbrook is .4 rebounds away from averaging a triple double again, except this season no one gives a shit

This is no different than saying Donovan should bench Westbrook because Russ plays less minutes when the Thunder win comfortably. Stupid.

Bag on Russell all you want; he deserves some of it. But this stat is bush league. The stat guy who dug it out is probably an ISH troll.

That's why Russell is not a 30 ppg player, we can assume correctly that when OKC is not winning during games Russell try his best and took the responsibility on his own to score, something he regulary do after Durant leave. So if they are not winning either way it is not much of a Russell fault as he as a star player try to win the game for his team.

For the curent OKC team it would be better for Russ to shoot no more than 20 shots per game with better shot selection and have his efficiency at 0.450 mark at least, or to up the more important eFG% a little bit more than 0.470.

And just look at what Pelicans do without Cousins, who only this season became something like efficient scorrer, but still not elite - his efficeincy was too low for a C in the previous seasons. Maybe NOP better team without him with the mid season additions.

This. No surprise a dumbass Rockets fan doesn't realize. If the team is playing like ass, Westbrook has to force the issue and start shooting. Paul George is not coming out of a 1-12 and hitting 5 straight shots to get hot. People still think he isn't a willing passer? What is this, 2012?

He should definitely stop shooting 3s though.

Regardless, he's still the victim of one of the dumbest front offices in the history of the NBA. OKC had WB, Harden, and KD on the same team at one point. If we want to point fingers, point them in the right direction.
