Default Not gonna lie, lonzo ball is a fantastic player

He's gonna go down as the best player of his draft

The reason is because he's extremely versatile due to watching LeBron and emulating his game.

Dude is gonna be putting up 20/8/7/2 within the next few years quite easily

As long as his offensive game slowly develops and gets better he'll be in the league for a long time. He'll average over 10 assists a game in a season at some point or another I think. He's a rookie averaging 7+ already.

I agree. I wish the Cavs could get him. I doubt he will be averaging less than 10 assists in his prime though. Simmons and Ball are the future.

Who knew he could play defense coming out of college?

You're right, 8 is a conservative number if he's the primary ball handler

His defense is impressive too. Looks like a free safety out there hawking for steals and blocks

Lonzo has a LONG way to go. Come on man.

I like his attitude and pass-first mentality, but he is extremely raw at this point.

There is a good chance that he never puts his scoring together.

I'll be impressed if he gets to Rajon Rondo level overall as a player.

Yep, unsurprisingly the guys who looked up to LeBron have the highest bball IQs and have the brightest futures

LeBron changed the way kids play for the better

He's easily gonna surpass rondo. He's basically a much bigger version of rondo with WAY BETTER scoring potential. It's not even close my dude.

Lonzo will be averaging 20 per night by his 3rd season

He won't EVER average 20 a game. He doesn't have the skills/athleticism.

The biggest reason why is that he will ALWAYS be a pass-first guy. He wants to average 10-15 assists a game. That's his mentality.

Honestly, I don't think you've watched him actually play a full game.

I can see Lonzo putting up 15/10 at his peak, not sure how efficient his points will be though.

Fast paced offense + huge for his position + 3pt proficiency + finishing at rim = around 20ppg

You say he lacks the skills and athleticim, yet he's very quick with good body control and dexterity

Guy is already grabbing 7 boards a game but he's not a great athlete

His shot is ugly but since he's come back from injury he's been shooting lights our from 3. At 19 it's quite obvious he has a ton of room to grow as a scorer

His ppg does depend on what types of teammates he has. If LeBron comes to town he will definitely average 20+

But to say he won't ever be capable of averaging 20ppg is laughable

The Lebron nonsense aside...

Lonzo will have himself a stellar career if he;

Fine tunes his offensive game/shot, which I see no reason why he won't.

Plays with ascended intensity. He needs to unearth his inner Westbrook.

Not allow off court drama impact his growth/maturation process.... Whether that be in the form of familial destractions or the LA lifestyle which he should be used to by this point.

I was the first on the board to predict he would tally at least one triple double in his rookie season.

He has it in him to average one. He has the conducive skillset...

I would say Lonzo's athleticism is much better than anticipated which is exactly why he's been such a surprise at the defensive end. He's at least an above average NBA athlete, combined with his length and IQ, gives him the tools to be an All-NBA caliber player.

He will never average 20 PPG if he doesn't draw fouls. 39 year old Dirk averages more free throws per game (and in less minutes too!) than Lonzo does.

Yet the Lakers will still struggle to make the 8th seed in the West and won't even be more relevant than the Clippers who have the richest owner in the league lol!
