Game 4

86 Celtics at 83 76ers

Final Score: at 76ers 112, Celtics 107

Player of the Game: M.Malone 29pts 24reb

After not being a factor in Game 3, Moses made sure he was a factor in Game 4. Moses put in another dominating 20-20 game for himself on McHale. McHale finished with a solid 22/7reb game. Erving added 23pts 5reb but on 8/20 shooting. Toney had 18pts and Cheeks had 12pts/9ast. Dennis Johnson led the Celtics in scoring with 24pts 7ast, using his size to score on Cheeks. Bird had only 23pts and 8reb becaues of foul trouble. Parrish had a solid 13/12 game. The Celtics shot 4% higher, but had too many TOs and lost the battle on the boards to get edged in Game 4.

Series Tied 2-2

The Showtime Lakers take a commanding lead in the series now, up 3-1. Magic Johnson wanted this one bad, and he did it all against Dennis Johnson. Magic shot only 11/27, low 40s, good defense by Dennis Johnson, but Magic Johnson couldn't take it, and kept coming back and back at Dennis Johnson. His great FT shooting helped, Magic went 19/21 from the line. With his 40pts effort, the Lakers take a 3-1 lead. Worthy was the 2nd leading scorer with 16pts. Gus Williams was huge with 34pts for the Sonics on 14/24 shooting. Sikma had 16pts/12reb/5ast. Dennis Johnson had 17pts. The Sonics now are in a big hole.

Game 5

83 76ers at 86 Celtics

Final Score: at Celtics 117, 76ers 96

Player of the Game: R.Parrish 20pts 10reb 3blk

The 86 Celtics push the 76ers to the edge and take a 3-2 lead in the series. Once again, the Celtics dominated on their home court. Parrish was great at 20/10/3 and McHale outplayed Moses, McHale finished with 28pts/9reb and Moses had 19pts/18reb. Erving and Bird both struggled again. Erving went 9/24 and finished with 24pts and 15reb. Bird went 7/22 and finished with 15pts/9reb/6ast. The Celtics held the Sixers to 42% shooting tonight. Game 6 will be in Philly

86 Celtics lead series 3-2

Game 5

80 Sonics at 87 Lakers

Final Score: at Lakers 133, Sonics 92

Player of the Game: M.Johnson 33pts 14ast 8reb 5stl

The Lakers blowout the Sonics and finish the series 4-1. The are the 1st team to head onto the 80s Tournament FINALS. M.Johnson, who has been frustrated by Dennis Johnson's defense all series, finally found a way to get over it and dominated tonight with a series best performance. Worthy added 24pts and 7reb. Sonics were led by Gus's 22pts, but he struggled from the field on 7/20 shooting. Nobody else really steppd up for the Sonics. The Lakers shot 11% higher and commited half the TOs of the Sonics who had 27 TOs. The Lakers now move on to the Finals, big accomplisment.

Game 6

86 Celtics at 83 76ers

Final Score: at 76ers 135, Celtics 128

Player of the Game: M.Malone 42pts 16reb

Man this series is close. Today the Celtics-Sixers go onto a high scoring duel. With Moses Malone leading his Sixer team out of there. He scored 40 on McHale tonight. McHale finished with 21/8reb. Toney had 22pts and Erving was great at 20pts/10reb/6ast/4stl/4blk. Bird was also terrific with 27pts/6reb/6ast/3stl. DJ also added 21pts and Parrish had 17pts/9reb/5blk. The Sixers overall as a team shot an excellent 55% from the field. They also shot 31/34 from the line. Both very key things for their win. Game 7 will be in Boston. I will sim it tommorrow

Series tied 3-3

If any team can beat the Celtics in the Garden it is the Sixers.

it cracks me up that this sim has these teams scoring in the 130+ range in the conference finals...

cant the programmer put in some defensive factors?

maybe my '80 sonics would have had a better chance
