Game 4

83 76ers at 84 Knicks

Final Score: 76ers 104, at Knicks 90

Player of the Game: M.Malone 30pts 16reb 4blk

The 76ers sweep the New York Knicks in 4 Games. M.Malone had another big game as the Sixers dominanted the Knicks all series long. Malone got a 30/16 game tonight. He didn't get too much support, as today the Sixers won it with their defense. Held the Knicks to 42% shooting, and Kind only had 15pts and 2reb. The 83 76ers will now move onto face the 89 Pistons in a much anticipated 2nd round matchup.

Game 4

86 Rockets at 89 Suns

Final Score: Rockets 142, at Suns 122

Player of the Game: H.Olajuwon 28pts 11reb 5blk

The 86 Houston Rockets extend their series lead to 3-1. H.Olajuwon had yet another dominating perfromance. The Suns were once again bad on defense and couldn't stop the deep Houston Rocket team. Simpson added 20/10 and Lucas with a 21/10 performance also. Lyod and Reid also added 20+ppg. As the Houston Rockets overall team was just too much for the Suns. KJ was great at 20/13, and Tom Chambers had a big game with 35pts and 12reb, but it wasn't enough because of the bad defense. The Suns also commited more than twice the TOs Rockets had. Game 5 will be in Houston as the Suns lose both their games at home.

Final Score: at Jazz 124, Lakers 117

Player of the Game: K.Malone 35pts 19reb 5ast

The Utah Jazz suprised the Lakers and kept the series alive with some big performances from their players. Malone once again had a huge night against the Lakers. He continues to do that. Thurl Bailey out of nowhere gets 33pts 7reb and 3blk tonight. Stockton also has a nice night by getting 10pts and 20ast. Eaton added 14/12/3blk. Magic had a big game for the Lakers at 21/15/7. Scott added 31pts. Worthy had 20, and Kareem had 21. But it all wasn't enough. Game 5 will be in L.A.

The Boston Celtics sweep the Bullets out of the playoffs. The Celtics have won all of their game with at least 10pts. Parrish added 20/12/2blks. McHale put in 16/9/5/3blk. And DJ was huge with 22pts. The Celtics played great defense and shot 56% from the field, holding the Bullets to only 44% shooting. The 86 Boston Celtics will now face the winner of the Bucks and Bulls series.

The Showtime Lakers beat the Utah Jazz and will move on to the 2nd round with a 4-1 series win. Magic Johnson finished the series strong with a great game. Worthy was also big with 27pts and 9reb. Kareem added 19pts/12reb as well. Malone was limited by foul trouble but still finished with 20/13. Stockton had a huge game with 21pts/15ast. Eaton added 6/14/6blk. But all wasn't enough as the Lakers move on. The Lakers will face the winners of the Mavericks-Nuggets series

Game 5

89 Suns at 86 Rockets

Final Score: Suns 148, at Rockets 139

Player of the Game: T.Chambers 32pts 7reb

The Suns aren't ready to give up yet. They didn't get any better on defense but fought with even more offense. Chambers finished with 22 of his 32 points in the 4th quarter. Eddie Johnson added 33pts tonight. And Kevin Johnson was brilliant with 26pts and 12ast. Hakeem had another monster game with 32pts and 12reb but it wasn't enough. McCray added 19pts/9ast/7reb. Lucas also had 16pts and 13ast. Game 6 will be in Phoenix. Both teams seem to be doing better on the road so far.

Game 5

82 Spurs at 80 Sonics

Final Score: at Sonics 128, Spurs 103

Player of the Game: J.Sikma 24pts 8reb 8ast 2blk

The Sonics come back home and destroy the Spurs to keep their hopes alive. Sikma had a nice game and Gus Williams added 30pts and 6ast. The Sonics shot 54% and held the Spurs to 43%. George Gervin once again had a big game with 36pts and 8reb on 14/25 shooting. Dennis Johnson once again had trouble guarding him and was limited to 17min by foul trouble, which led Gervin to dominate more. But he had barely any help so the Sonics blew the Spurs out. Game 6 will be in San Antonio

Player of the Game: C.Natt 33pts 15reb 2blk 2stl

The Nuggets keep their playoff hopes alive as well with a great win over the Dallas Mavericks. The Nuggets played another up tempo game and came up on top. English added 24/7, Fat Lever also had 17/10. Mike Evans was huge off the bench with 23pts. M.Agguire had a great game with 32pts 6reb and 5ast. Blackman also did good with 20/8. Perkins had 16pts and Harper was solid with 19/9. But it was short as the Nuggets did great on offense. Game 6 will be played in Denver

Game 5

89 Bulls at 86 Bucks

Final Score: Bulls 125, at Bucks 111

Player of the Game: M.Jordan 39pts 9reb 8ast 2stl 2blk

M.Jordan continues to do it all by himself. He had solid support, but no one really big. But he had a huge game himself. After going down 0-2, Jordan has stepped his game up and now his team leads the series 3-2. Jordan was brilliant this game once again as Pressey struggled to stop Jordan. Grant had 15/11 and Pippen with 16/7/4. The Bucks were led by Moncreif's 21pts and 7ast. Cummings added 19pts and 9reb. Game 6 will be in Chicago as the Bulls get a chance to finish series.

Final Score: at Bulls 123, Bucks 114

Player of the Game: M.Jordan 42pts 13reb 6ast

The Chicago Bulls complete their comeback and win the series 4-2. Jordan had another big game to do it for the Bulls. 1st time in the series was it a close game. It was all tied up going into the 4th, but Jordan, and his supporting cast did a great job in the 4th to finish the series. Cartwright had 19/11 and Paxson had 17pts also. Pippen only had 12pts but most came in the 4th quarter. The Bucks were led by Cumming's 25/12 and Moncreif's 23/7reb/6ast. The 89 Bulls will now face the 86 Celtics in Round 2.

The Nuggets got in another high scoring duel vs. Dallas. Alex English added 28/8/8. The Mavericks were led by Harper's 31pts and 9ast and Agguire's 31pts and 7reb. The Phoenix Suns have roared back from being down 3-1 and have made it 3-3 to force a Game 7. Tom Chamber's Game Winner was huge. Hakeem Olajuwon had a chance to tie but missed. Chambers finished with 25pts and 6reb as he has been giving Hakeem problems all series long. KJ was huge with 26pts and 12ast. The Rockets were led by Hakeem who had 26pts 11reb and 3blk. Lucas added a 23/10 game, and Simpson also had 22/11. Lyod also put 20+pts. But it all wasn't enough as the Suns tied the series with a huge shot from Tom Chambers. Game 7 will be in Houston
