I have stated numerous times that I want to take yi.He is tall, quick, great ball handler, vey good shot.He is also long he can block shots. He has dominated better then yao did even. But I heard today that the chinese government does not want him here.So Im sure were gonna ger horford. Yeah whatever. He will be a little above average at best.I would rather go for conelly.Or green or even brewer.
Since West has been here he is always trying to draft a strong
rebounder and none of them have really panned out. They gave up the
1st pick in the second round (33rd) when they traded that for
Lawrence Roberts. They should have kept that pick. Could get
someone like Afflalo or O. Tucker if they still had it. Then West traded
another pick and cash to get Alexander Johnson. He also drafted that
tall Australian dude--forgot his name--who lasted one year and was
sent back to Australia. When he had the 4 pick he drafted Drew Gooden.
Seems like he is fixated on getting a rebounder that can't score.
So if West holds to form again he will get Horford who will probably
end up being another just average rebounder. Hopefully, Ivarroni will
have some creative ideas and will go after someone that has potential.
All they say about Horford is that he is ready for the NBA. Translation:
He has already peaked. West was creative last year when he got Gay.
Just hope he thinks aggresive this year and not go for another average
Nice job poindexter.I agree Horford looks like he is as good as he is.I really do not want him.I would rather have noah. And I dont even like noah.He is taller faster better handles shot blocking is good.He has alot more passion.
For a really good analysis of the current Grizzlies situation, read the
article on them at draftexpress.com. Especially the part about the draft.
I hope Ivarroni has a better eye for talent than West. That Lawrence Roberts
draft decision has been another major blunder. West should finally learn to stop trying to draft another Vlade Divac.
