actually, it should not have been that close to even need a 3 point buzzerbeater to win. RJ was injured in the first few moments of the game spraining his ankle on a wet spot
In a game that had such a close finish, there's no way of saying "MoPete or not, the Nets would have still won that game." especially considering that Mo-Pete was their best one on one defender at the time for VC and he didn't start going off until after the ejection.

Whether they admit it or not, it was quite obvious they were wrong. Due to league rules, they may not have been able to call Mo Pete back, but some formal and public acknowledgement of the error should have been made by the league considering this was such a unique case. It seems as if there never was one.

I agree. I don't think he ever received an apology, but I think it was the call was rescinded after the game? not sure.
