No that was Jeff Green. He's a forward.

Because this thread is about traveling, not no-calls. And LeBron is notorious for doing his "hop step" travel frequently. Anyway, he traveled before he got fouled, so it's pointless trying to say they fouled him, when he shouldn't have gotten the 2 points to begin with.

Nope guess again, he got fouled before he took the first step.

The only legitimate argument about a foul is with Ruffin, and looking at the clip again, I don't even think Ruffin fouled him. He went straight up with his hands up. LeBron is the one who initiated contact.

Now, if your proposing that Daniels fouled him on that play, then I seriously don't know what to say. Might as well just say, "Daniels tried to deny LeBron's dribble penetration; that's definitely a foul right there."

The only foul that could have been called was Ruffin's, and LeBron undeniably traveled before that. He took another one of his "hop steps." Even so, 75% of the time, Ruffin's "foul" isn't called, because it's a late game situation. Unless it's either an intentional foul or a really hard and obvious foul, the refs don't like to call fouls during those moments. With minimal contact from Ruffin, there's even less of a chance for a foul to be called then.

I was extremely pissed off that game. Roy was getting HIT ACROSS THE HEAD when going for layups and the refs swallowed their whistles. Yet Wade falls on his own and it's a foul.

The absolute look of disgust on Udoka's face is priceless.

let's pretend for a second that he was legitimately fouled. the 3 travels Lebron committed were long before any kind of foul. they're irrelevant. what, do you want the travel waived off and the contact Lebron initiated called on Ruffin? you want both? seriously?

I'm not complaining about that. the fact is Lebron made a RIDICULOUS shot and he deserves it. did he have to travel to get it? yes, that much is inarguable. but I'm fine with it. and he shouldn't get a * or anything. he dominated the clutch in that series, end of story, and he should get all the credit in the world for it; at least, all the credit a great player CAN get for scoring buckets on command against the Wizards.

Yeah, I also remember that game. Particularly in one of the last plays where Roy went for the win (or the tie?) and got hit in the face, no call. Then on the other end, well, the play of the clip.

Anyone have the clip of Wade elbowing Dirk and somehow getting to the line to seal a game in the finals ?

Now that was a bad call, worst I've ever seen.

worst call ever:

Kobe pivots, hitting Bibby in the face with his elbow, Bibby gets called for the defensive foul.

Agreed. Then Sac had to take their last timeout to patch Bibby up.
