Default What position does David Noel play?

I heard he plays power forward...but he's only 6-6.

He's a swingman.

He may have played some PF in college, but a lot of guys play positions in college that they wouldn't be able to play in the NBA.

He is a shooting guard/small forward.

If only he can shoot . He's another one of those highlight reel guys which nowadays, the NBA only have time for those when its garbag time!

That doesn't matter, Barkley was just a shade over 6'4", and he was a PF too, also, Chuck Hayes on the Rockets, he's about 6'6", and he played C at times when Yao was hurt.

Just because Barkley could do it, doesn't mean everyone else could. Next you'll be saying that since Noel is 6-6, athletic as hell, and from North Carolina, he's the next Jordan.

And Chuck Hayes is not a good powerforward. Nor a starting one. He's a hustle/scrap player off the bench. Not a quality starter.

Noel is a physical SF, he will play more in the post than on the perimeter

On offense, yes. But they will surely utilize him on 2s out on the perimeter on defense.
