Mike James will be great for Adelman's offense, you'll probably see him and Rafer playing at the same time throughout the season.

Bobby Jackson type role to Rafers Bibby.

If the Rockets get a Wilcox type player its a good move, if not its questionable.

I think Mike James coming back to the Rockets will help, in that they need anybody they can get. Not sure what's up with Wells (sounded like he wanted back in with Adelman). Doesn't seem like Sura is ever coming back. It would be Alston, James, and Luther Head I suppose. Head is an excellent three point shooter, but seems like a chucker. Alston shot 37.6% for the season. James also shoots the ball alot. All three of them in the same backcourt would be intersesting to see. Anything to keep McGrady and Yao from scoring 50 of the Rockets 67 in a PO game, eh?

It's irrelevant, I know, but I wish the Rockets would have kept Rudy Gay. He would be sick next to McGrady and Yao. He could help them in a number of areas (scoring, rebounding, playmaking). In Gay's first season, he averaged slightly more PPG than Battier did on the Rockets (10.9 - 10.1), and you get the feeling Gay will average more than that for his career. In the last month of the regular season, when Gay was getting starter minutes, he averaged more PPG, RPG, APG, and SPG than Battier in the same month. Slightly worse FG% (41.4 - 43.1), but better FT% (85.2 - 75.0)... This isn't to say that stats are everything. Battier is very solid player who could help any team looking to become a contender. In some ways, I would take him over Rudy Gay, but, the Houston Rockets should have went with the youth IMO. I wonder what Adelman thinks of that draft-day trade.??

Rick Adelman definitely had a say in this trade IMO.

sounds like a good deal for the rockets. gives them another scoring option besides yao and mcgrady. just hope he can distribute it to them and realize hes their 3rd option

I like this for the Rockets. with the new coach (Adelman) I think Mike James fits perfectly. he's able to hit shots and stretch the defense, can handle the ball if needed, and I think can be persuaded to let Tmac do the ballhandling.

anything's better than Rafer. and Juwan sucks anyway.

I want to see Adelman unleash Skip like he let Jason Williams play.

Damn we got Mike James, I don't really know about that. We're gonna be small up front. Unless Steve will get some play at the four, I don't think we have anybody else.

O'Neal?
Shard?

How many years are left on Juwan's contract?

This goes against what everybody else is saying, but whatever: Not a bad trade for the Wolves. James was pretty crappy and now we get rid of one extra year of his contract, and add a big man that will be nice backing KG up. Now the PG spot is all Foye's or Conley's if they draft him. Could be alot worse. And to those who still think James is any good, just remember that he has had one good year in his entire career, which was for a terrible team in a contract year. Dont forgot how he submarined the Rockets in the playoffs two years ago in the playoffs.

Rafer while skilled handles wise could never even come close to mimic some of the things J-Will did passing wise when he was giving free reign...

I wished he broke it out more often with my Heaters...
