Congrats to Finley. He was one of the few mavs that tried his best night in night out for those horrible 20 win seasons. Glad to see him get a ring.

Good going Fin

there are not enough classy, team-oriented players in the NBA like finley. he's a perfect fit for the spurs and i'm pleased they all got rings.

There should really be a "Spurs roleplayer appreciation thread." Oberto, Horry, Bones, Fin, Elson...these guys do so much that show up on and off the statsheet.

There's no such thing as black cavemen. According to history, blacks didn't appear until around the 10 hundreds..

it is nice to see a chucker get his...last yeart it was Toine, this year Finley...pick a team with a past his prime ringless chucker and you have the 2008 Champs right in front of you.

teams should be climbing over each other to snatch Stevie Francis away from the Knicks. I think he is the next chucker to be rewarded.

Um, no. Passed up every team that would have actually made him PLAY to get the easiest role possible. Um, no.

Veterans who take a **** little role to try to win title by jumping on someone elses boat, nope, not happy for him.

sure .. and you know mankind originated in Africa/Australia? And that all native africans and australians are black? Why should the first humans have been white and not black?

skin pigmentation is driectly related to viatamin D intake.

If you skin is pale it can aborb vitamin D quickly

If your skin is dark it aborbs vitamin D slowly

light skinned people originate from places with long dark winters and less sunlight. Their pale skin is an adaptation to their environment and allows them to maximize vitamin D intake. This is why they burn when there is too much direct sunlight.

dark skinned people originate from areas close to the equator where the sunlight is much more common and powerful. They absorb vitamin D at a slower healthier rate for their heavily sunned environs.

If you walked from the equator to the North Pole there would be no line where people went from black to white, they gradually get lighter.

Light skinned people put their health in danger when they move to sunny areas (high skin cancer rates in Australia).

Dark skinned people often suffer depression in northern climates. Items such as sun boxes have proven successful in curing depression of tropicl people in Northern environs.

My guess is there were probably black 'cavemen' jsut like there were cavemen of all colors because caves made good homes at one time.

Imagine how much better his night would've been had it gone like this:

"Man, I'm going to sleep with this ball right next to me on the pillow"

No mention of the wife, just sleeping ewith the ball, not awkward just funny.

If you want to put in a wife crack:

"That is if my wife says ok -- hahah -- oh you'll learn Tony, you'll learn"; or

"Gonna put right between me and my wife, -- she loves when I bring athletitc equipment into the bed -- haha --- just playing hon!"

Doesn't Dallas need a SG that can hit outside shots?

With that said, I was all about getting Fin out of town but I am even more happy that he won the ring. Great guy, great heart, great attitude.

Congrats to Fin.
