I don't know if he's run out of cash or not but of course this is at least partially about money. He has without a doubt learned in these four years that there is no job a young man without a college education can find that will pay him a million dollars in a year and he gets to visit the biggest cities in North America and play basketball. He now realizes that he had his dream job.

I would absolutely give him a try out. I am not predicting he comes back as a star or even a starter but there's no harm in taking a look.

Absolutely. He's 7' and he had talent. If he's healthy, throw him the minimum.

His game is probably best suited for the Big 3 at this point.

There isn't an sf in the NBA that he can defend so I can't see that. But if his knees are right there would be a lot of teams that don't normally play a big that can defend him. Smallball has been effective because of the lack of good low post scorers. Someone with skills and size in the paint should still have a niche.

Had one transcendent season where it looked like he was becoming the next great center before our eyes. Then self-combusted due mostly to his personality and mental state. Guy was an asshole. And not really as focused on the game as he should have been. Didnt help that he couldnt stay healthy for more than one season. Squandered potential that's for sure. I think I gave up on him maturing when I read in the paper that he was fined for double parking in a handicapped zone, or something along those lines.
