Number of players with more individual accomplishments than Lebron: 2
(Jordan & Kareem)

Number of players with more rings as the best player on their team than Lebron: 4
(Russell, Jordan, Duncan, Kareem/Magic)

At the most that is a total of 5 players you could objectively rate above Lebron, and only 2 players that beat him in both categories. In order to pick any other player above Lebron, you have to use purely subjective arguments, and I don't think you can come up with an consistent criteria by which you can rate 10 players above Lebron.

For example, you could say that playoff success matter more than anything else, in which case you could move Shaq and Kobe ahead of Lebron, but then you also have to put Bird, Wilt, Hakeem and Oscar behind Lebron.

I hate lebron but he'll be sadly top 10 when he retires. He doesn't deserve it, he's a fraud

top 10 GOAT is also called top 10 respected players. And collusion just defeats the purpose of winning which is to earn the respect of others. So I dont think lebron will be top 10 while theres a reason why kobe is in most players mt. rushmore coz the more you learn about this game, the more you respect kobe.

He'll be arguably top 10 for quite a while.

However, he is very polarizing and that has long term impact. Think of guys like Barkley, or Shaq who arguably get a little nudge down the rankings because of who they were rather than their accomplishments as a basketball players. These subjects regularily cause heated arguments, but a player that develops a strong polarizing personality doesn't get forgotten and it will play a role in the future ranking of LBJ.

For now, he's in the top 10, he may be lower that most would like to admit, but he's still high enough it will take some time to knock him out of the top 10. Let's be honest, sure their are a bunch of players that look like they could get there, but in reality, the odds really aren't that good, it's a longevity thing and only the players who consistently pull in accolades and consistently propel their teams to deep playoffs runs have a shot at breaking the top 10. Only so many guys can win MVP/FMVP and take their teams deep in the playoffs each year, lots of great players fall short due to bad luck.

Jordan failed against all time great competition (86 Celtics)
Lebron beat all time great competition (16 Warriors)

If you can find 10 guys with at least 4 MVPS 3 rings and 3 FMVPs then okay, he is out of the TOP 5.

Only a hater, will have him outside of the TOP 10.
