I never said he was a bad clutch shooter. He just simply isn't the best in the league, and he used to be even better. Remember his choke job turnover against the Cavaliers in the Playoffs?

Paul Pierce is at least in the top 5 without a doubt. Steve Nash has been clutch for maybe 4 seasons, try doing it for 8 or 9.

As a Jazz fan, I have to let you know Okur > Williams in clutch ability.

Williams is good, but Okur is Top 3 in the Clutch.

The lack of Wade in this thread is disturbing...free throw shooting aside his clutness in the 4th quarters of last seasons playoffs were incredible, hell he made his free throws also, unlike a Dirk.

ain't no orduh, and I wouldn't say the list is complete:

Gilbert
Kobe
Manu
Gordon
Okur
Deron
Bibby
Pierce
Melo
Horry
Cassell
Billups
Wade
Nash
Iverson
TJ Ford
Allen
Baron (it's funny that his performance, one of the most heroic in NBA playoff history, was only like a month ago and it seems everybody's forgotten he exists)

Quote:
Williams is good, but Okur is Top 3 in the Clutch.
let's discuss his playoff performace. top 3 he is NOT. makes the list obviously. but top 3 my ass.

dumb.

now let's go into some unconventional proposals:

Jamal Crawford
Derek Fisher
Jason Kidd
Andres Nocioni
Michael Redd
Rasheed Wallace
Carlos Arroyo
David West

Which pisses me off. As I said before and always say, people are forgetful and don't care about the past. It's all about right now.

dumb.

So you basically just posted everyone mentioned in this thread to sound 'smart'. Genius.

One of the most heroic in NBA playoff history? A second round exit after he was lucky enough to be on a team who matched up well against the #1 seeded team? Heroic? HAHAHA.

Memo blew some ass offensively in 2/3 playoff series, but a ton of that was thanks to his damn superb defense he had to play against Tim Duncan and Yao Ming. The best two players at their positions today. Let's not get all hot and bothered over Baron Davis, that's just retarded.

Heroic is NEVER a word that should be used in the same sentence as 'Baron Davis'.

But it's not like he's this uber-clutch player constantly.

I agree with you in general however. Just not about Baron Davis.
