Default What’s worse in a Resume?

What looks worse in a resume:

getting fired or quitting?

It depends on whether the terms for you quitting/getting fired have been listed. If you have quit due to reasons, such as 'The boss tried it on with me at the Staff Christmas Party' then quitting isn't as bad. If you have been fired due to constantly being late and only going in when you feel like it, then getting fired looks worse.

both are bad but I would say quitting.... I usually just lie and say I left for something....

If this resume is for a serious position, don't lie, 'cause the employer might contact the other previous employers and if they find out it'll become permanent on your record that you lied. I'd say getting fired is worse, 'cause with quitting you can at least make up an excuse and say whoever you were working for didn't fit your needs, you can make up a professional excuse.

If this resume isn't a serious position, LIE. It just makes life a whole lot easier.
