Probably would want Kwame's deal, and also throw Diaw in the mix.

the way i see it, only untouchable players are hinrich, deng, thomas, sefolosha (sp?), wallace, and any other young player.

so they could have a lineup of:

Hinrich
Kobe
Deng
Thomas
Wallace

they would get to the ECF...until the Wizards beat them. :
So Ben Gordan, Noc, and Duhon for Kobe? Gtf outta here man. Bulls rape the Lakers in that trade.

New York seems like they got some players they could/can package. Some quick stints on some should look like:
- Jamal Crawford, Eddy Curry, Nate Robinson, Future picks for Kobe Bryant and Kwame/Bynum
- Stephon Marbury, Quentin Richardson, Jerome James for Kobe Bryant
- Eddy Curry, Steve Francis, Channing Frye, Renaldo Balkman for Kobe Bryant, Smush Parker

Probably because the Knicks are one of the more talented teams in recent years. Maybe he thinks he could pull it together. Plus they have a long list of players to trade. Eddy is probably the only untouchable. Marbury, Francis, Crawford, Lee, and Frye all have some value. Qrich isnt garbage either.

I can tell that this trade is not happening.

According to Ric Bucher, a trade could happen sometime before the June 28 draft, which is only a week and five days from now.

The Bulls are also the most likely to obtain him.

Kobe wants to go to the Knicks because of the Market.

The only team that really has a chance is Chicago. But it would probably take, Gordon + Duhon + Thomas + Nocioni (S&T) + #9 pick to get Kobe Bryant.

I don't know. It seems every Knick trade that happens, the Knicks get a bad deal and their team gets worse.

I think New York should be out of the trade wish - list.

Bulls make a deal for Kobe and I guarantee that it will involve at least 3 teams. With the Bobcats being the most likely under-the-cap team included.(MJ factor)

Knicks won't be a mess with Kobe. They'll be as dysfunctional as ever but they'll definitely be a top-5 playoff team in the East.

Those first two don't work out financially.

Curry would not be involved in that trade whatsoever! He wouldnt fill a need for the Lakers unless they were willing to give up on Bynum...

NY is a viable option because its the mecca! The endorsement aspect would make him a demi-god! Instant sell out! People would fly in to see him play like they used to do back in the day at MSG!

Anyone the Lakers get return will have to be a good sell to the fans since they raised ticket prices. They would have to get someone that they can market as the next big thing!

I would say probably in this order the best for him to win on and off the court would be Chi, NY, then Phx.
Who could offer the best packages would be Chi, Phx, then NY.

NY lets make it happen!
