I disagree.

Anyways, I'd take AI for one game or a whole year.

Not under Van Gundy's offense. With a bit more speed in their game and more offense, they'd be killer. And a better bench.

Tmac is the more talented player, but due to injuries, and the way Tmac plays now (jumpshots galore) I take AI.

Iverson was sick many years back. He kinda fell off track where he would seize games and take it just like nothing. He fell of the map a bit with his shooting, considering age and his new team - sharing a spotlight with another dominant scorer.

As for accomplishments, AI wins obviously. But as far as being the better player, I think T-Mac wins it (close).

how did AI fall off with his shooting? His shooting has progressively gotten better and better in the past 2 or 3 years. this was probably his BEST year as a jump shooter/3 pt shooter.

they both have had flawed careers but i'll still take AI over TMAC any year in their careers. AI is a proven winner. some of the best games of his career were in game 7's. (16 assists to beat Toronto in game 7, 44/7/6 in game 7 to win the Eastern Title).

this shouldnt be an argument until TMAC can get out of the first round.

Dont even talk about playoffs

AI is in the EAST

T-Mac is in the WEST

The Cavs made the finals in the EAST
They wouldnt even get into the playoffs in the WEST

T-Mac is a little better than AI
But it is very close

Dont even compare the Sh!t players T-Mac played with on the Magic to the team AI had when he got to the Finals

Injuries and attitude (recent retirement, tired of bball remarks) is what can be used when determining AI vs Tmac. With that I'd pick AI over Tmac. And as of today would do so just because of this. But again if all things were equal Tmac would be better.

Question would become...if AI was in Tmac shoes on the Rockets. How would they fare? Could they beat Utah in a series?

I agree with this statement. As much as I love T-mac, I myself would take AI.

I think we do beat Utah. All we needed to do was penetrate in order to defeat them, and T-mac for some reason went away from that aspect of his game in game 7 in the last couple of minutes. AI on the other hand would have penetrated without fear and hesitation. I think we would win the series.

Yeah, you're right. Haven't watched any Nuggets game that much to judge this so, my bad. He "would have" been a poor shooter if he took twice as many shots as he did on the Nuggets. He cut down quite a bit so it's virtually the same thing.

These accomplishments shouldn't get in the way considering the opening question says "which one's better?", I believe. Therefore, I go with T-mac.
