how many games did Tracy McGrady win in that span of 19 games? ZERO. he went 0-19 as the reigning scoring champ.

you've got some serious heart/pride issues if you let that happen to your team. i dont care who you're playing with. superstars are supposed to play to kill.

cmon man. how is this an argument?? we're comparing a first ballot hall of famer to a great scorer that doesnt win.

Iverson's Sixers weren't exactly a top-shelf squad either. Didn't they have Darrell Armstrong at one time?

Thank you

Im trying to explain to these people that T-Mac was playing with 2nd - 3rd string players in Orlando

And AI had a much much better team when he made the finals

They went 42-40 that year. They slipped into the playoffs because they were in the East. Not THAT much of an accomplishment... they wouldn't have made it that year if they were in the West. They wouldn't even have been 9th.

They were like this year's Cavaliers. They got to where they got because of their team defense, and one explosive scorer.

Exactly. Take into account that Iverson had such big named-players in his Sixer career. McGrady? can name a few, as in like 3-4.

Some include: Glenn Robinson, Keith Van Horn, Derrick Coleman, Dikembe Mutombo, Chris Webber, Aaron McKie(was a monster).

Much much much better team? Please. He had a wad of defenders that didn't know how to put the ball in the basket well enough to be great players sometimes. Iverson averaged 31PPG. Who was next? McKie at around 12 or so PPG. Iverson WAS their offense. Their roster wasn't that great at all. It was their defense that made them so great.

They played the NBA championships, and Iverson had a poor shooting round. He said he played the worst series of his whole career. He's only played 5 playoffs games in the West. Don't bring up the fact that he lost to the Spurs in the West... bad argument.

T-mac had a crap team and AI had a crap team. AI made it to the finals because they had D. T-mac went out first round cuz they had nothing except T-mac. On both team T-mac and AI were the offense, but AI had better D thats why they made the finals. AI is better than T-mac (not by much)
