I would absolutely love to see FISHER return to the Lakers. He was just an absolute beast. He would be a great mentor to the younger guys, and his presence would definitelly please Kobe. Maybe not enough to get him to stay for sure, but its a start.
Much respect for Fisher, but i'm sure if he's leaving the game to be with his daughter. Which is more important then basketball. He's already a Laker for life
ok i'm hearing he is not retiring, he wants to move to a city where better care for his daughter can be found... mayo clinic in minnesota is about the best...but damn it gets cold there... also his daughters procedure was done in new york so i imagine that's a real likely destination

Mayo Clinic here in Phoenix, too.
But plenty of good hospitals in LA.

wasnt some lady left dead in the emergency room at one of our hospitals in LA recently, because they didnt think her symptoms were real and thought she was exaggerating.....i remember hearing it on the news a couple weeks ago.....but idk if that matters on this post.......i though id just throw it into the hospital debate......
As I recall, Fish left as a F.A. He can't simply leave and sign somewhere else - so he has to retire or ask for a trade somewhere.
i just read on espn that the jazz released him.....making hin a free agent.....so he can easily choose where he wants to go with his daughter.....fish also said he doesnt want to retire....
