no..and even if he was he would never get credit for it...10 years from now, IMO, this should be the list.

1. Oscar Robertson--MR Triple Double..In his prime no one was better

2. Michael Jordan--6 titles, should have had 7 or 8 mvp's

3. LeBron James--Will win atleast 3 before his careers up

4. Kobe Bryant--81 points..ha

5. Larry Bird--Definately deserves to be in top 5 of all time

if Kobe wins 3 more while dominating, then he will be in the debate. but for now, he's not even the greatest Laker ever (magic, kareem, west).

As of the 05-06 season(the last season) he is the best plya in the league.

LeBron no. 2 and you can contemplate the others.

But as of next year you can call LeBron-Makaveli cause whatever is thrown at him he will still stand and would neva die

Win one by himself?

Shaq has won 1 cause of Dwayne Wade.

Also, Jordan is considered the greatest but Scottie got closer than Jordan. I doubt people would say Jordan ain't great because he didn't win one by himself would they?

No. Michael Jordan will remain the Greatest Basketball Player of All-Time. His impact on the game will never be matched, he made Basketball what it is today. I agree Kobe Bryant is the Best Player in Basketball today and he is an extraordinary talent, but he will not surpass Michael Jordan as the Greatest Ever. No one will ever surpass Michael Jordan as the Greatest Ever.

Jordan is teh greatest playe rof our era...kobe can get to this point if he wins a few more championships..he is the most similar player to him as of now....hard to tell with lebron...this guy is a BEAST...21 years old with the stats he's having...he breaks record every year (being youngest to score X amount of points...he was youngest for 1000pts, 2000pts, 3000pts..) and let me state again he is 21...this kid has poise and the attitude to be one of if not the greatest player to play the game of basketball...he's 5 years from his prime...imagine what he will accomplish even before his prime...

Almost Agreed... He's definitely in the top 15 to me, but i'd like to see a few more awesome years and hopefully another ring from him before he breaks into the top 10. I can think easily of 10 players that are above him at this point..

But he is impressive.
