Lightbulb Teams We need to beat for a banner

OK CLIP fans, who is are main competition in 2007..last year it was the McNuggets, Suns, and FAkers..who will it be this year.

1. Suns (we need to win the Division to get the home court to make a title run and the Suns are our best competition in the Pacific.)

2. Mavs (the Spurs are too slow to make a run in 2007 but the MAvs will
be there for the WCF and a favorite out of the West.)

3. Fakers (winning the City war is a matter of pride. Continued domination
of Dr Phil and Ms Bryant will be good for the coaches, players, Donald T,
and the growing ClipperNation.)

Thumbs down Hornets and Rockets

Explain how either one of these teams can get in the way of a Clipper
banner..I dont see either one taking the Clips out in the 1st round
or winning the Southwest instead of the Mavs or Spurs.

Last year the Clips held the Hornets to a record 26 points in the second half of a mid season game. The signing of Peja was fools gold and reminds of Toni Kukoc
getting a big contract after the Bulls rings.

As for the Rockets, Yao and T MAc have injury issues and the addition of Shane Battier will improve D and team chemistry but is not enough to climb the ladder of league's toughest division.

So you also think the Clippers will win the SW division. Thats a lot to hope for.

Default Pacific Division

NO CHANCE IN HELL A PACIFIC Team wins the SW. I pick the Clips to win the Pacific. Sammy is the difference for the Clips and Amare will not be healthy enough to make a diff for the Suns, my choice for 2nd.

Pacific Predictions:

1. Clips * +
2. Suns * +
3. Kings *
4. Fakers *?
5. The City

* Playoffs
+ Home court advantage
? Contending for 8th spot

Dallas, San Antonio and Phoenix are clearly better teams.

The Clippers, IMO, are 4th best.

Fakers (duh)
Suns (tough 7 game series against division leaders)
Nuggets (anytime someone grabs the nuts of one of your players, you must always beat them!!)
Sonics (Weezy is a ***** and we always need to remember to dismantle his team)

No way. Clipps are one of my favourite teams but Pheonix is better. Every NBA fan knows it. I can see the Clipps giving teams a scare but I don't think they will win a championship.

You guys are getting too ahead of yourselves to be thinking about banners.

Geez the Clips won 47 games last season and their delusional fans are already talking about banners. Who's gonna lead you there. a 38 year old Sam Cassell?

Lightbulb Faker Fans..leave our forum

Unless you are willing to engage in intelligent discussion about the Clips and their rivalries. The bandwagon stuff just does not cut it. Stop crapppping on our forum. Clipper fans know the game, know our team, and know the league. And Sammy is a leader and winner who again will lead us to the playoffs and deeper into contention. The great roundmound of NBA analysts THE CHUCKSTER was the first to jump on our ship and pick us to damage in the playoffs. He must have listening to Dunleavy and Lawler. GO CLIPPAS! IT IS CLIPPPA TIME FOR THIS FORUM

For the best basketball fans in LA. THE CLIPPER NATION

I beg to differ. Look at our history and yours.

Sure we can leave your forum...but the tension will always be there...It was never the clippers city...you guys will honestly be better off somewhere else. im not saying that to be a **** but the city honestly aint big enough for the both of us and Lakers clearly have the right to stay with all they have done for the city
