Default Roy vs. Webster

Who is better?
Now and in the future.....

I say Roy for both categories above.

Roy, I think he is NBA ready and when Webster came into the league he struggled with that, spending some time in the D-League. It will be a battle in training camp and Roy will show up ready.

I don't know why but the Blazers coaches seem to think that Webster is ready to contribute some serious points and minutes. I seriously do not think he is. He has a sliky smooth shot from the perimeter, but he needs help on defense and still needs to work other things on offense like the ability to get open against these quick gaurds that he didn't see in high school.

Brandon Roy I heard is starting at point gaurd with Jack backing him up and Dickau being the guy who steps in on the bench if one of them gets hurt. So if anybody will be battling with Webster it'll be Juan Dixon. I don't know why they took Juan out besides his bad defense and size, but he shot the ball better than Webster last season and also made a lot of athletic passes and played decent D when he really needed to which was rarely the case for the Blazers last season.

Default Webster is gonna be better

Roy is better now but Webster will be better. The reason Webster spent so much time in the D leuage was because he wasn't nba ready like roy is and u go to remeber webster came straight out of high school while roy went to college. If you look at both players 3-5 yrs from now Webster will be the obvious choice.

I'm sorry but Jack is the starting PG not Roy.

i think webster is goin to be a dynamic player but brandon roy can really ball. roy will be a better player. he plays smart, he got good defense, he's a good passer and he can score in any way. he got the all around game. he will battle morrison for the rookie of the year.

dude morrison isn't going to even get close to ROY, i mean the dude is basically a poor mans white allen iverson. He cant shoot a high percentage, cant rebound, or play defensive, he is just one big ball hog. roy is just going to be an outstanding player in the league, no one out of the rookie class will be able to make plays like him, and score to. I am just hoping that somehow they can work roy, webster, and outlaw together. you got a play maker, long range shooter, and a slasher with great potiental.
