Default MLB trade deadline deals--what does your team need to do?

Cincinnati Reds--They are going to have a firesale, more than likely. Dunn is gonna be on the first flight out of town. He has worn out his welcome. He epitomizes everything that is wrong with the Reds. He puts up empty numbers, hitting 450 ft. solo homeruns in blowout games. Last season, despite topping 40 HR's, he didn't even get 100 RBI's. Team likely interested in him are the Padres, Astros, Cubs, Angels or perhaps Yankees (could be moved to 1st base--has played there before). Griffey might be traded as well. We are a cheapskate bunch and don't want to pay his salary. Cubs/Yankees/Red Sox/Angels perhaps? Hatteberg, Conine, and Stanton might also be moved as well to contending teams.

Why Trade Texieria?

Also, does Sosa do anything besides hit HR's?

IDK, adding reliable bullpen help at the middle of the season is nearly impossible.

The Yankees will take the first 3 guys.

The bullpen will improve significantly. Gagne the setupman to Rivera and Otsuka in the Bullpen for the 7th inning relief. Teixera at 1st.

Because hes an overrated locker room cancer, plus hes a Boras client which means he will test free agency, which means he will ethier leave Texas for nothing or we can trade him now for some young players.

we also need a 1B. Dunn or Texiera maybe? I heard they were trying to get Gagne to set up Mo. Also we should bring back bernie. i think that would spark the team.

I think that ship has sailed. Plus, the Yankees need to get younger. They already have enough older veterans.

White Sox are past their expiration date. Everyone on the team older than 24 is available for the right price. And it looks like Buehrle and Contreras are the first to go. Followed by Dye, Iguchi, Crede(if healthy), etc.

I fully expect to see a total roster changeover by next season. Garland, Jenks, and Konerko might very well be the only guys left from 2005. It's rebuilding time.

I am astonished by how far this team has fallen. Is is because of age/injuries/Ozzie Guillen's abrasive style?

Blue Jays:
Probably sell some of the veterans but not a firesale.

1. Troy Glaus might be traded

- I like Glaus and he's been one of the best players on the Jays but rumours are that he would waive his no trade clause to go back to California and Anaheim, LA and San Diego are all rumoured to be interested. I'm hoping for a big prospect like Brandon Wood or Adam LaRoche since the Jays really don't need to trade Glaus.

2. Matt Stairs?? .307/.376/.575 for an OPS of .952

- He is having a huge year thus far and could be a great addition to any playoff team needing depth at LF, 1B and DH. He's a veteran and a cheap left-handed bat. This probably depends on the health of Reed Johnson and Lyle Overbay and the progress of Adam Lind.

3. I really wish BJ Ryan wasn't injured and shut down for a year. He is exactly the type of player the Jays need to unload (I was saying it since last year). He's a great closer but a team like the Jays does not need a $9million closer when they already have a good bullpen without him.

That's about it though. The Jays just need to hope for better luck next year as they have had a ridiculous amount of injuries so far and progression from guys like McGowan and Marcum in the starting rotation. Hopefully they can contend for the Wild Card next season.
