i hear it is

Suns trade exception and a future pick for Salmons

has to be a sign and trade but the suns TE is 3.6 so more than enough to do

I was hoping that the Nets could ship McInnis because he makes exactly 3.6 mil, but I guess not.

Salmons has skills but disappears for long stretches. Might erupt in Phoenix.

Sarver must be willing to pay the luxury tax this year because he is signing guys left and right.

I think he's only signed Piatkowski this offseason, and then Salmons if this rumor is true. They cleared I think 9 mill when they traded away their picks, and Brian Grant's contract, so they'll be fine.

I like the pick-up a lot. He is inconsistent, but very skilled, and if we can turn Eddie House into a double-digit scorer I'm sure Salmons too can shine. He knows how to pass and rebound well, should fit into the system.

Salmons can be very good for the Suns.
Smart move for them.

I hope the Sixers actually USE the trade exception. They still have the one from the Marc Jackson deal.

I read that they wanted to get a backup for Nash with the TE.

I know Salmons can handle the ball, but he's about as much of a point guard as Eddie House and Barbosa.

I kinda don't see the point in this move. Unless, of course, Phoenix would like to trade us James Jones. Then I'd shut up.

He might not be our future point guard to take over, but he is better than nothing. Barbosa is a SG, no matter what anyone, even D'Antoni says((or is FORCED to say by Sarver in order to please the fans)). House will likely be gone,. So, we need SOMEONE to come off the bench and at least PRETEND to run the point when Nash sits. I mean, PHX usually is the right place if you want to start anew on a good note. So, why not give Salmons a shot. What else were we going to do with the trade exception? It expires for us AUG. 21

Unless the player is a cancer, or is getting paid ALOT:

SOMETHING>Nothing
