"The agent of Greg Oden refuted an ESPN report that said the Trail Blazers have informed Oden's camp that they will pick him No. 1 in Thursday's NBA draft.

"We haven't been told that,'' Mike Conley, Sr. said late Wednesday night. "(ESPN) can have their opinion, but the Blazers haven't told us anything.'' "

We will obviously take Oden since we already have Brandon Roy. Why bring in another big time player at practically the same position? I'd rather have a veteran at that position to teach Roy things and help him through rough spots in the season.

Oden can learn from Randolph (offense) & Przybilla (blocking & defense)

But I'm about 90% sure that we'll see Portland wheel and deal at least one of those second rounders and a guy they want to move like Randolph, Magloire, Outlaw, Webster, Miles to move back into the first round or possibly the lottery (Randolph and some picks for the rights to Chicago's choice and some players)

Roy isn't half the player Durant is. Anyways, Roy can just move to SG and Durant at SF. Durant could even play the 4 if he put on some weight and can put up 185 a few times.

This is going to be the next Kobe and Shaq thing. Durant is going to be like Tmac he will never win a championship.

You don't understand what I'm saying

SF...SG...practically the same position

No teams have ever won with a great SG/SF combo

Because it is practically the same position. So adding Durant would just be stupid IMO. Specially when you have Outlaw at the end of the season putting up 30 point nights and going 14-14 from the free throw line. I'd rather see Portland draft Oden, wait a year to go after the huge free agents like Marion or sign Rashard Lewis or Grant Hill or do a sign and trade for Morris Peterson with Jamaal Magloire

You can also ask Denver fan how that Iverson/Anthony thing did for them in the playoffs when they had no big man to contest with the Spurs...ERRRRRRRRRRRRRR
