I'm a Duke fan and I strongly believe that Duhon is one of the main centerpieces of your organization, an efficient guy, and the heart of your perimeter D aside from Kirk and Deng.
Gordon on the other hand is pretty good, but he's overrated, has way too many oppurtunities to score and doesn't shoot accurate, and is a turnover machine.
IMO, Duhon is better, but the guys around me laughed when I stated my valid opinions....
Now to get some backup from some Bulls fan, tell me that Duhon is better!!!
Won't they play Thomas at power forward? I thought they'd have PJ Brown start and Tyrus Thomas off the bench. Or they could trade Loul Deng for someone and have Thomas come off the bench for Nocioni.
Without a question Ben Gordon is worth more to the Bulls than Chris Duhon. Just Ben Gordon's clutch provenness has teams guarding him tougher than Duhon so it seems that Duhon to be more efficient. If you take a good look at Ray Allen's game, who I am not comparing to Gordon, he is the #1 target to defend. He is the best shooter in the league, and if you really take a look Ray Allen doesnt seem to make every single basket. That was Kobe before last year. Kobe has really upped his game as far as shot selection and field goal percentage this year.
ditto. duhon's decent but in a jannero pargo way. role player, i guess.. or a little step lower than role player. gordon does it way too big though, 6th man of the year, front runner to ROY, everything he does.. gordon's way more important.
Gordon is better than Duhon. I like both but Gordon is by far the better player. He is so clutch. He was the 6th man in his rookie year that sows how good he is.

Chris Duhon is not lower than a role player. That's laughable.
I agree. Duhon started 38 games last year and averaged 8.7/3/5 in 30 minutes. He was a role player, simple as that, and definitely the most valuable player off the bench (if you don't count Gordon, who was basically a starter anyway). Also, how many backup point guards had 5 assists a game last year? None. I would look for Duhon to put up similar numbers again this year, even with the semi-crowded backcourt.
Duhon is good, BUT, Ben Gordon is much better. Gordon can score under heavy defensive pressure, and Duhon is a liability on offense. Not to mention Gordons playoff performance >>>>>>> Duhons.

That's not really fair considering the condition of Duhon's back. He showed alot of toughness...
I realize that Gordon's a better overall player. Duhon is a more typical point gaurd. Whereas Gordon's more of a two. apples and oranges...
