I really feel that this was the best draft the Blazers did and how they traded Zach Randolph and their cleaning up the Blazers image and now if the Blazers can get rid of D-Miles they'll be set. Plus 9 times of 10 the Blazers will buy out Steve Francis contract cause I know he's not in their plans.
Pritchard is doing a great job with this team IMO
not only do you guys have players who can REALLY play, he's got players he can use to dangle as bait to other GMs for more trades
im a raptors fan, and im kinda glad we only have to face you guys twice a year, because this team should be a powerhouse in the future
hey im a die hard suns fan but im pullin for you guys this season, i see portland makin the 8th maybe even the 7th seed this year, odens gonna tear it up down low alongside frye and aldridge, and you have a budding superstar already in roy so yeah....
all I can say is thanks. My team will be in the post season now. And as for Steve Disenfranchise I'm glad he's off the books. I think the blazers would be stupid to buy him out. Look at it like this look what Isiah got for him and soft ass Frye
Y'all sure look to have turned it around but a lot of luck went into it! First, MJ and 4 other GMs were stupid enough to pass on Roy last year. Then, you win the lottery for Oden with a 5.3% (I think) chance of winning.
But ya, Pritchard has done an amazing job and you have to love a GM who actually has the gnuts to make big trades, and lots of them. Though, it makes it really hard to keep track of everyone on your roster!
Im starting to like the image of the Blazers as well - depending on the other moves they make I think they have a chance to make the Playoffs this season if Oden makes the switch a good one. If Oden struggles at the start I see the team miss the Playoffs by 5 or less games.
Jones can't start for Portland when he's in New York...
Francis is being talked about being traded to the Clippers and Portland needs a legit starting swingman...ESPN has been saying that Portland will buy out the majority of Steve's contract then the Clips will pay him the remainder of the contract to play for them...but I don't think Pritchard would do that
Maggette wants out of L.A. and to a contender and Portland will be that next season and for plenty of seasons to come. They have some guys who can run the court and guys who can pass out of the blocks very well and he would be a huge asset to the Blazers with his great outside shooting.
