Default Brevin Knight Waived

I didn't see it posted yet but saw it on the Front Page of ISH.

Odd move. I thought they could have traded him for something.

I would love to see NJ land him for a year or two since they need a competent veteran PG behind Kidd.

Damn, Nets?

Don't they already have Marcus Williams backing up Kidd?

I say send him to Boston. Boston just lost Delonte and I wouldn't trust Rondo and Telfair. Get a Veteran point gaurd in there.

So if someone signs him, his prior contract is just assumed by his new team or what? Hows waiver wire work again?

I don't see why the Cats just didn't trade him for some future 2nd rounders and expirer.

I surely wouldnt mind him on the Cavaliers roster

He could be that Point Guard guard we are looking for that would finally replace the aging Eric Snow.

Snow would just be promoted as an assistant coach of the Cavaliers.

Lakers don't need Knight, Boston might want to consider him.

Yeah maybe he'll want a second run in Cleveland. I hated him the first time around but he's gotten better somehow

Did you happen to see what happened in the playoffs every time Kidd sat and Marcus came in? It wasn't pretty.

Marcus could use another season or two under his belt before we can count on him.

Pistons have been rumoured after him for a couple of years now. Would definitely take him off the bench with STuckey.

If Calderon is traded I wouldn't mind Knight as the backup on the Raptors. I have a feeling he can get better playing time with some other teams though.

Miami? Cleveland?

I heard that Mustafa Shakur is undrafted in this years NBA Draft maybe the Cavaliers can have him on our Summer Roster. If he can have a great performance in our Summer Camp maybe we can sign him as undrafted FA.

Yeah, well Kidd doesn't have time to wait. The Nets want to win now.... The huge comeback in game 6 against Cleveland was completely stalled when Frank pulled Kidd to rest him, even though they cut a 20 point lead or whatever it was down to 1. Marcus came in up went the lead and the Net's season ended in an instant. And this wasn't just in game 6. It happened all throughout the playoffs, but esp. in the Cleveland series. Marcus needs to grow up alot next year to be considered a competent back-up esp. in the post season.

If him and Hill takes the Vet Minimum, Boston manages to net KG, and Sign Magloire to the MLE.

Knight/Rondo/Telfair
Ray Allen/Tony Allen/Allan Ray ()
Pierce/Hill
KG/Scalabrine (O man, I haven't head that name in a while)
Magloire/Big Baby

Thats a championship level roster. Insane talent there.

Easily make it to the ECF, they would have to battle with the Cavs. And with that talent, they could compete with anyone even the somewhat overrated Spurs.
