best scenario I have heard is Hughes back to Washington for Brendan Haywood and Antonio Daniels. Hughes has proven to be an effective scorer in the Princeton Offense and was an unfortunate injury away from being the third Wizard to make the Eastern all-star team that year. Why do the Cavs do it? You get a fairly young Center to come off the bench and move Varejao permanently to PF relief. Not to mention picking up a guy who can score and run the offense in Daniels. I think the deal is solid for both squads contingent on the fact that Hughes is able to give the same type of contribution as he did last go-round with the Wiz. I believe that he would because he is just not the type of player that can capitalize in the pound the ball into the court for 22 second type offense that the Cavs have been using.

The Cavs will just have to wait until they can buy him out. I seriously can't see any team wanting him. None what so ever.

Seattle should seriously swap him for Wally.

Wally is a better fit for Lebron, and even if he is injured has a shorter deal.

Hughes is less of an Injury risk for the Sonics and can play 1-2-3 instead of Wally being strictly a 3 which is their deepest position now.

Funny how all these good players become "garbage" all of a sudden when paired with LeBron James. Coincidence?

Big Z, Gooden, Marshall, Snow, Hughes.

I thought LeBron makes his teammates BETTER?

Never thought about that one it sounds better than anything I can think of. I think Wally can play the 2 decently.

Him and Lebron would be fine 2/3. He would be the best shooter Lebron has ever played with, good for another 2 dimes a game or so.

Would make sense but their all flawed players. First off Z, Marshall and Snow are old when they arrived in Cleveland and have since gotten even older. Gooden, Jones, Hughes and Marshall once again all bounced around the league for the duration of their careers as career journeyman who have worse spells other places in the league then in their stay in Cleveland. Its not like he's playing with the Russels-Celtics and I don't see how thie level of play can be pinned on Bron.

Superb post and IDEA.....that would be wonderful i like it for the cavs

so a Hughes Damon Jones and Ira newbold future 2nd for Wally and watson looks good

cavs
Big Z/Marshall
Gooden/Varejo
Lebron/Plavioc
Wally/Gibson
Watson/snow looks good to me

Sea.
West/Ridnour/Jones
Hughes/Green
Durant/Wilkins/Ira
Collison/Petro
Wilcox/Sene Not bad at all

Yeah good addition to my idea, Watson would be solid in Cleveland.

I dunno about Wally in the Cavs. He's not fast enough to run with the Cavs. But I like that trade though. Wally and Watson for Hughes and Jones. I dunno if it work salary-wise.
