Seriously this is getting old now. The Bulls ARE NOT and SHOULD NOT get rid of Luol Deng. He's the best player the Bulls have right now. He has so much potential to be an all-star player in this league and someone who can come out every game and give you 20 PPG and 5-10 RPG. No freaking way should they trade him. I'd give up Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, or even Kirk Hinrich before Deng.

The fact is the Bulls are not going to trade Deng......too valuable for the team and what they do. Nocioni is good, near the same level, but is almost 5 years older and not as good.....therefore, Deng is the person they need to keep, because he's 22, and has so much more potential..... I don't think it is ABSOLUTELY neccessary to go and mess with the FA market this year, simply because all the marquee players will be out next year.....What people don't realize is, the Bulls don't run too many plays for Deng as they should....everything they run on offense usually goes through Gordon...If Loul Deng wasn't so important to the Bulls, then why did the Pistons and the Heat focus solely on him in the playoffs? Deng has a very high ceiling, and being that he is 22, he has at least 5 years before he even hits his prime. Deng, Hinrich, and Gordon are the big three, however, Deng is the one that teams fear because of what he can do on offense. Miami couldn't stop him in the 1st round, Detroit played zone to take away his slashing, and when he went to take the mid-range shot, he had two people in his face......Nocioni gets none of that kind of treatment......

But He actually has better statistics in EVERY CATEGORY in EVERY YEAR excluding 3 pointers saying he only shot a total of 7 last year, and one other category FT%. But in total games, games started, minutes, fg%, Off rebs, def rebs, total rebs, assist, steals, turnovers, fouls, and Points Per Game. CONVERSATION OVER.
P.S. Me and Lu are goin to your Ma's house for a "tag team" match later.

you left out blocks. thanks for pointing out deng plays more minutes then noc loverboy. 37.5 to 26.5. that explains the higher numbers for deng. he has more time to get his points and rebounds. and his numbers are SO MUCH BETTER... like .1 and .2. they should tear down jordan's statute and put one up with you and deng and they trade him. have fun at your mom's.
I would keep the younger, taller guy with more upside any day, so that means Luol has got to stay and Noce has got to go. It would be a mistake to let go of Deng because he would help the team more long term due to his age. The two factors that are the biggest deciders are size and age, Deng 6'9, 22 years vs. Nocioni 6'7, 27 and will turn 28 on Nov. 30. Deng just makes a lot more sense for a teams long term goals.
