Bulls could always sign a player or two at the MLE.
Bench is basically Tyrus and Thabo, two sophomores. Duhon and Noc were the only other consistent bench contributors. PJ'll probably be gone.
But Duhon wasn't even doing anything last season. The only one they'd be losing is Noc. If they did do this trade then I'd like to see them re-sign PJ at least for one season.

the trade for gasol won't happen. bulls should sign noc, trade deng and cut noah.

If what actually happens???? Find me a credible source that links both teams discussing a trade and throwing out names. The trade being suggested is no different than CED making a proposal. Memphis has said they arent lookin to GIVE AWAY Gasol...and its not a top priority, they would like to KEEP him. Gasol demanded a trade last season....as of today he is still a Grizzlie. Guess why genius? Memphis was asking for more than teams were offering ontop of them not being that pressed to move him anyway.
But yeah Noah, Duhon, Nocioni and filler can get you Gasol. If that was true Chicago would have had Gasol already. Wake up, deal with reality. IF and this is a big IF...IF Gasol ends up a Bull? It will be for MORE than what was offered. Thats a fact...try dealing with them.

You're on drugs. As mentioned the Bulls can sign a backup PG. They already have Tyrus Thomas who really showed promise in the playoffs and is gonna get MORE minutes. They have Thab who was playing good defense on D.Wade. You also have a vet in Adrian Griffin who can play some quality minutes. All Chicago needs is a 8 man rotation with a 9th as insurance. They have that...they got the bodies.
Tyrus Thomas only avg 14mpg last season.
Thab only avg 12mpg last season.
Both players should be seeing more minutes next season. Nocioni and Duhon were giving Chicago 25mpg a piece. Chicago goes out and signs 1 more player and they are BACK in business. A vet PG wont be hard to find. You're ignoring the fact you're getting Pau Gasol as your starting PF. With that you can tinker and toy with lineups all day. I'll trade Nocioni and Duhon 2 bench players for an All Star caliber PF like Gasol. Why are you even debating this?
