Nah I wouldn't chance Pollard, a stiff on the offensive end, and very average on defense...

I'd take Pollard, too. We could get him for the minimum for shizzle. Rebounds, plays defense and hits free throws. Cool.

Good god the west is stacked. You still have the lakers, the retooled hornets, the jazz who are solid, the kings, the warriors who still have talent though they never live up to it and the grizz who would get homecourt in the east. All of those teams would easily make the playoffs in the east.

Raider your forgetting Seattle if they sign Wilcox back they well most likely make the playoffs, finally got good rollplayers like the had two seasons ago.

The list of team who "will most likely make the playoffs" has grown to ...well, roughly the size of the Western Conference.

2.Warriors
3.Jazz?
4.Sonics
5....?

Who else is a sure thing to not make the playoffs?

The jazz arent a sure thing. The trailblazers and sonics are the only true sure thing with the warriors probably being 3rd even though they have talent, they just dont ever put it together.

I dont care what you say they can compete for playoffs.

Not in the west...

Spurs
Mavs
Suns
Clips
Lakers
Memphis
NO

Thats one space for a team, because ALL the other teams are most likely making it. And a healthy Yao and Tmac are in, so pencil them in also. But, at least KG MIGHT stay now. Although, I'd like to see him move and compete for a championship, he deserves one, and the T-Wolves GM is too stupid to get the right players around him.

On a side note, Amare is continuing to impress. Got his rebounds up. Lets go STAT.

Man, you can't pencil in the playoff bracket before the season starts. To say Minny doesn't have a chance is ridiculous.

AND i forgot the Kings.

Point blank, barring injuries, those teams are better than the Wolves. Now, if teams get injured up, then you have a chance. But so will teams like the Nuggets, who will probablyfight to get in, and the Jazz.It aint going to be easy.

The teams aren't done making moves. We don't know what a lot of teams really look like yet. Also, we can't predict chemistry with any sort of consistent accuracy.

You cant ever just pick teams and say ok these teams are making the playoffs no questions asked. Take houston last year. They were the biggest lock of anyone other than the spurs and mavs in the west(moreso than the mavs according to the espn idiots-on a side note scoop jackson is an effing retard) yet they didnt make it. Plus with your list none of those teams is from the minny and denver division. I like the hornets alot and i have a bet riding on them being solid but them, the lakers and memphis are in no way so much better than the wolves that they are locks. I am by NO means a wolves fan. I do want to see them in the playoffs because dirk vs kg is my most fun matchup to watch besides dirk vs duncan and bron vs wade(i cant wait till they meet in the playoffs).

Wilcox is pretty pissed at Seattle right now. They're not offering anywhere near what he wants, and they're proposing RIDICULOUS sign-and-trades (Marion! Ha!). Wilcox wants no part of Seattle. He might end up signing the one-year deal there, but he won't be happy. It won't be like it was at the end of the year.
