If sumo wrestling is rigged, i wonder what other sports are.

Steve Nash tried to sell a foul as being much more vicious than it really was. Not Stern's fault that the only people that bit on that lure was two of the Suns' own players.

You could blame Nash, the Suns' coaches and staff, or even [gasp!!] the players themselves for their actions. But nooooooooo. Let's blame the officials, the commissioner, and the league because we can't get over the fact that we lost to a better team.

I love the Jazz, but I can admit that we got our a$$es kicked by a team that had every right to beat us.

The best thing Grant has going for him is his slashing in the open court....he's like a surgeon when it comes to cutting into defenses while they backtrack.

Hopefully he gets enough minutes because PHX's style is suited for that.

Great mid-range game too.

Grant Hill cannot start for Phx because his jumper is too much of a liability with the way they play... Cant have too many guys who cant hit the three on the court at a time...

Nash
Bell
????
Marion
Amare

Who starts at small forward....will they put Marion there and start Kurt or throw Diaw in there somewhere

The only thing James Jones was useful for was help defense. He'd hit a 3 here and there, but that was about it. If he couldn't play defense, he'd be riding the pine as much as Jalen. Incredibly inconsistent, and very frustrating. I'd rather see Hill's midrange jumper anyday of the week.

Hill is still an an okay defender if he can play 3's. When he has to stay on a 2 he's in trouble. I don't envision him playing at the 2 much.

he'll help them. they'll probably limit his minutes in regular season, but in playoffs he might be guy to push them over the top in a tough series. he cant shoot the three ball, but he's still great in the open court and formidable slasher in the halfcourt offense.

Great mid-range game too.

Hill should of gone to the Spurs. Their help defense would have covered his short comings on the defensive end.

With the Suns, in such a fast paced system, it's going to be tough to do that and D'Antoni is going to have to make some decisions how to use him when he is being abused.

Hopefully all goes well for him becuase I really like Grant Hill.

And he gets to the line, something the Suns could certainly use more of.

I also can't help but wonder how those ankles are going to hold up playing at such a fast pace night in and night out.

That's where light practices come in handy. :)

Nah, I think most PHX fans are banking on him getting injured once or twice during the year, but most really want him there for veteran leadership, and for the playoffs.

also, can his ankle hold up in their rigorous up and down system. he is going to have to be able to keep up with amare, marion, nash, and raja, who are all bullet fast, not to mention barbosa who will likely come off the bench with him.

As cool a guy as grant is.....it's pretty ****ed up that he "did not give the Magic much consideration".

Even after Orlando stuck by him through all those years.

I think he'll be okay. He can still run. Most of his injuries the past couple of years haven't been ankle issues.

They just agreed to sign Rashard, maybe that had something to do with it.

Hill has one of the better mid range jumpers in the league.
