Arrow Fisher interested in the Knicks..

Quote:
Derek Fisher is interested in playing with the New York Knicks because he could be near his ill daughter, the Newark (N.J.) Star-Ledger reported Wednesday.

But a return to the Los Angeles Lakers is more likely, Fisher's agent, Mark Bartelstein said, the newspaper reported.

Fisher's 11-month-old daughter has been undergoing treatments at a New York hospital for retiniblastoma, a cancerous tumor in her eye.

I am not laughing at Derek Fisher, but I will be laughing at the Knicks if he signed for the mle.

I'd bet the contents of my wallet that he'll be a Laker next year. New York is probably his second choice, though.

I hope he doesn't go to New York. I like Collins and hope he gets minutes.

New York has a good young team going on now. I hope they dont ruin it with fisher. Mardy Collins = Future NY Starting PG.

You know that young teams need veteran leaders, right?

Fisher would hardly "ruin" New York. I just don't want him there because the Knicks aren't going to be all that good anyway and I want to see Collins get minutes.

But if I was a true Knick fan, I'd love a guy like Fisher.

You guys have to put at least ONE unselfish guard out on the floor.

So wait... he asked out of his contract with the Jazz to concentrate on his daughter... and now he's going to sign with another team?

What a lying prick. Seriously. Is it just me or is that beyond a ****ty thing to do?

Maybe if him and Jazz just didn't want each other anymore, they should have just said so. But putting the reason off on your daughter with cancer only to return to another team less than a month later?

What the ****?

Another PG is the last thing they need though. Get a shot blocking big man or someone like Mo Pete who could hit some shots and defend. Neither is Fisher.

If I remember, Fisher didn't want to play for the Jazz.

So he can basically never see his daughter during the season then... i see nothing wrong with what Fisher did and he is actually losing money doing this
