Millions and millions of people. Besides that, don't know.
And as far as the White Sox kissing the postseason goodbye....um, where have you been? We kissed that goodbye weeks ago and best-case scenario, we're not getting back near it probably until 2009 at the earliest. That is, if Buehrle and Konerko are still around and productive, and guys like Danks, Fields, Owens and Sweeney pan out. I thought Kenny Williams did a good job of building our pitching staff for the near future when he traded Garcia and McCarthy without comprimising our chances to contend in 2007. I still believe that to be true, because those trades sure as hell aren't responsible for injuries, they aren't responsible for the same guys that were third in baseball in runs last year being dead last in the AL this year.
Lot of ifs. But if we're destined to wallow around the bottom of the AL Central for the forseeable future, I'm not going to ***** until 2010, per Bill Simmons' 5-year rule after your team wins a championship. Unless you're the Red Sox or Yankees, you usually only get a 2-3 year window to compete for a championship in baseball before your veterans are too old and creaky and it's time to overhaul things. Clearly, the Sox have reached that point.
