Great final.

The first 3 sets were just amazing to watch, top play from both guys. In the 4th Federer completely fell apart and Nadal just took what he gave him, he didn't need to do much other than play smart tennis. In the 5th, Federer just seemed to turn it on after all the break chances he gave Nadal and played like the usual dominant Federer. Nadal had his chances in the 5th but couldn't get it done.

Roger Federer

In the 5th he was the usual unstopable Federer, his serving was unbelevable, he played smart and stayed strong mentaliy.

Nadal probably forgot to pick his wedgie late in the 5th. A killer mistake.

Greeeat match, best Grand Slam Final since Federer began his dominance.

shame about Nadal's knee though. the dynamic changed after that, Federer really was coming apart in the 4th.

Hopefully Roger can start getting the respect he deserves now.

Or at least go sign another endorsement deal and use the money to buy a killer personality to go along with his killer game.

Maybe you should be his PR guy.
But I got to agree, just like Sampras he lacks the personality. Just like how in the 90's people liked Agassi over Sampras, same reason people like Nadal over Federer. But game speaks for itself.

That's the thing. He's the GOAT in my opinion. He's MJ of tennis, but the guy has no personality. If he even had a SMALL sense of humor, he would be on billboards everywhere.
