Default Banks or Al Harrington

Guys .......these guys could be ours if we use a S& T. we can get Al by giving harrington and banks by giving something else like cook and mckie(expiring contract)..what are your opinions?

We will not be getting al harrington becasue we have nothing to trade for him unless we let odom go. He's going to demand a pretty large contract and we dont have the resources to make a deal happen...Banks sounds slightly more logical given that the wolves are set to sign Mike James and he will probably demand too much cash...though we dont have much but a few expiring contracts...but we have also just signed shammond williams leaving us no cap room...

we could get Harrington by trading Mihm, Smush, and perhaps Walton...but I don't think the Hawks would accept it. besides, we don't need Harrington if we just signed Rad.
Banks would be a better choice. Brevin Knight in an S&T even better.

Yes, hawks would not accept that...and plus i dont think we should trade mihm...remember he was our only low post threat for most of the season last yr until he got injured...and theirs a lack of quality big men on the market

you forget that teams usually want something in return in a sign and trade deal...and we dont have many assets that teams want...mihm is a possibilty though

Default mckie is lame

if we can get anything for mckie it would be a benefit. he was a good player, i think if healthy he can contribute minutes, but he will be injured the rest of his life, he gets injured watching the game on tv. I think possibly we can get banks, we have a few resources like mckie and sign and trade george, maybe sasha, cookie would intice them they need a backup for kg, maybe mihm, but id rather not let him go. i think banks would be a good pickup, but he is asking too much without proving anything.

everyone needs a great veteran leadership/ Locker room prescense.

Who better than Mckie. LOL

plus an expiring contract of 2.5 million is PRETTY attractive.

Banks is already going to the Suns and its not likely the Lakers will even attempt to pick up Harrington. They already picked up Radmanovic to play SF and if they wanted Al then they would have gotten him instead. I personally would prefer Al over Radmanovic but this thread is basically dead because we are not getting either one of them.
